We haven't met, but I requested a duty-assignment in the galley for a full shift under your command.  I'm not a professional chef insofar as official training, but my mother was and I'm qualified to work in the galley.  At your earliest convenience, I would greatly appreciate the chance to hash out my shift assignments with you.  Thank you.
