You know... he knew those things were bad news and that just reaffirmed it. He probably believed every word, poor lad. It was almost enough to put him off his food.
But, since he got a metaphysical kick in a sore ass cheek, he paid the tab, split what was left between him and Harold, and headed back to the docks to see if he could pull off enough to rent a room tonight.
